Nepali Cricket Team: Nepal played three cool matches against Canada to get ready for WCL-2. And you know what? Nepal won all three matches! In the first match, it was super close, but Nepal pulled it off and won by just 7 runs. Then, in the second match, our captain Rohit Paudel played amazingly, scoring 83 runs and even took 2 wickets. Nepal won that one easily by 4 wickets. And in the last match, Anil Kumar Shah and Bhim Sharki both scored their first century, and Nepal won by 9 wickets. How cool is that? Our team is doing great!
Anil Shah, Rohit Paudel, and Dev Khanal are our main batters. Anil Shah scored a whopping 162 runs in just 2 games, and he even hit a century against Canada! Rohit Paudel did awesome too, scoring 95 runs in 3 games. And don’t forget Dev Khanal, who showed his skills in the U-19 World Cup.
Now, let’s talk about our bowling heroes. Rohit Paudel and Gulsan Jha are the ones to watch. Paudel took six wickets in three matches, and Jha did great in the U19 World Cup. And guess what? Sompal Kami is also a fantastic option to take lots of wickets.
Namibia cricket team: Namibia don’t play ODI cricket a lot, but they’re gearing up for a match against Nepal. Now, let’s talk about their star batters – Michael Van Lingen, Nicol Loftie-Eaton, and Gerald Erasmus. Erasmus has scored over 1500 runs, leading the team, while Lingen and Eaton follow with 873 and 718 runs.
Now, onto their awesome bowlers – Bernard Scholtz, Ruben Trumpelmann, and Ben Shikongo. Trumpelmann has taken 60 wickets, Scholtz has 56, and Shikongo grabbed 16 wickets in 14 games. These guys are real game-changers!
