The UAE will begin hosting the 15th Asia Cup in 2022 today. is taking place in At the Dubai International Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, all T20 matches will be played. The six-nation competition will continue until September 11th. The tournament was originally slated to take place in Sri Lanka in 2020, but it was postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Again, it was difficult to implement in Sri Lanka in 2021 due to the country’s inability to maintain political and economic stability at that time. Following that, the Asian Cricket Council chose to hold all of the matches in Dubai over Pakistan’s protests, despite Sri Lanka being assigned as the host.
